Most people think of 'supplements' ignoring food high in antioxidant simply because it's easy to pop a few pills and maybe skip the the odd meal especially if you live a hectic and full lifestyle (like me) 'on the run' so to speak.

My advice...?

Dont!

Yes... take supplements by all means but don't neglect food high in antioxidant. They can provide better insurance than supplements in as much as you are getting the antioxidants you need in the correct amount and form.

It's estimated that there are more than 4,000 compounds in foods that act as antioxidants. Listed below are some of the best and most studied foods high in antioxidant.

Vitamin C -A water soluble vitamin found in all body fluids, so possibly our first line of defense. Our bodies cannot manufacture vitamin C, neither can we store it too, so regular intake is very important.

This is not a problem if you eat fruits and vegetables (tut tut if you don't).
