Chinese Wolfberry...It Will Give Your Immune System A Big Boost And More.

The Chinese wolfberry has been known for thousands of years. The Chinese call it Goji Berry.

The wise old Chinese healers used the fruit from the Wolfberry bush to strengthen the eyes, liver, kidneys, and build healthy blood, circulatory and immune systems. Apparently Chinese physicians also use wolfberry for infertility.

In fact the Chinese love it so much it is classed as a national treasure in China. There are rumors that it has become a secret weapon used by Chinese Olympic swimmers to get to the top ranking in the recent national games.

Wolfberries contain carotenoids, which, as we all know are potent antioxidants. One of its key constituents is lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP)...what does that do?

More recently, comprehensive analyses have found that wolfberries contain 18 types of amino acids, 21 trace minerals, 29 fatty acids, vitamins B1, B2, B6, E, more beta carotene than carrots, more vitamin C than oranges, and as much protein as bee pollen.

The wolfberry is also rich in vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, vitamin B5 and biotin (part of a group of vitamins called B complex). Eight ounces of wolfberry contains over 40 times the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of vitamin B1 and over 10 times the RDA of niacin. Wolfberry is the most nutrient-dense substance known.

Chinese wolfberry has been shown to inhibit the growth of, and induce apoptosis (cell death) in human leukemia cells.
