Kiwi Berries, A Nutritional Powerhouse.

Kiwi Berries are sooo good for you.

Unlike it's famous cousin the kiwi fruit, kiwi-berries are smooth skinned and much sweeter. Guess what? No messy peeling, no fuss. Ready to pop in your mouth and eat like a grape.

The sizes can vary from a large grape and sometimes to a small plum. Great for snacks, pack some in your lunch box or add to your cooking.

Are they healthy? You bet!

They are considered a superfood, a nutritional powerhouse in fact. They contain almost 20 nutrients.

Of course not forgetting that they are high in antioxidants too. So what do they contain?

Kiwi berries have as much as five times the vitamin C of an orange. So helping with your immune system, fighting off colds and flu.

Kiwi-berries have twice the vitamin E of an avacado, but with only 60% of the calories. So lowering your cholesterol and helping the heart.

Vitamin A, great for the skin, teeth and bones.

The same amount of B6 as a serving of spinach. This is an important vitamin and there are not many foods rich in B6, but kiwiberries are.

What else?

Kiwiberrie is rich in folic acid, high in fibre, has a 'higher per ounce' potassium content than bananas, it's an extraordinary source of chromium, and has almost no sodium.

Kiwiberries, a nutritional powerhouse, so now you know about them, try and introduce some into your daily 5 a day.
